As part of my research, I have collected together a series of photos that were taken first hand within Russia. These photos are of St. Petersburg and Moscow, and although my film doesn't take place in the latter, these photos can still act as inspiration. Although these are first hand photos, rather than those I've found in books or on the internet, they were not taken by me. They were photographed by my Grandmother, who visited Russia in the early 2000s, and has visited most countries of the world. These photos are able to give me an idea of the grander structures within my setting, and give me aspects of design work to look further into when designing my film.
